Membership

As you know, we rely on membership contributions to help provide essential services that keep our building running and our community thriving. Your annual membership dues are tax deductible and include tickets to all of our High Holiday services, in addition to other programs throughout the year.

(Note: access to these forms require Adobe Reader.).

Remember to indicate on the form how many member and guest tickets you and your family require for the High Holidays.

Please complete and return this membership form by August 23, 2018 to be on the current High Holy Day members list. No physical tickets will be distributed. Instead, there will be a list at the front door with all members and associated guest ticket counts. For safety reasons, anyone who’s name is not on the list will be requested to produce identification before entry. **After August 23 please email Michael Lopez at treasurer@templeshalom.ca to make arrangements for membership and to be added to the list.

Forms may be sent via e-mail to the Temple Shalom Treasurer at email hidden; JavaScript is required, put in the mailbox next to Rabbi Lori’s office, or mailed to Temple Shalom at 543 Beechwood Drive, Waterloo, Ontario N2T 2S8. Dues may be paid via check or e-transfer.

IMPORTANT YIZKOR INFORMATION: The Yizkor list will be built anew at the beginning of each Jewish year during the membership drive. There is a section on the membership form to include a list of names that you wish to be remembered at this time of year. As a member, you may put on this list anyone you wish, not just a relative. These names will be read on Yom Kippur afternoon as part of the Yizkor service. Any non-member who buys a High Holiday ticket may also add names to the yearly Yizkor list. There will also be opportunities in the Ten Days of Awe to insert additional names.
