MS Walk – from Tracey (Goldhar) Ostermann

It’s the beginning of March and the MS Walk is only about eight weeks away. Werner, Jenna (17), Trevor (14), and I will once again be participating in 2 MS Walks. We will be doing The Walk in Boston on April 8th, and then a second time in Kitchener-Waterloo on May 6/18.

Last year, we had approximately 235 different sponsors, and we raised slightly over $18,200.00. Thank you once again to everyone who sponsored us last year. It still overwhelms me when I think about everyone’s ongoing generosity.

And it’s your ongoing generosity, and support that keeps me participating in The MS Walk year after year. This is our 15th year, and I believe that we have raised (to date) a grand total of over $125,000.00 for The MS Society of Canada.

As most of you know, I was diagnosed with MS in 2002. I’m happy to report that I am continuing to do well.

As I mentioned above, Werner and the kids and I will be doing the MS Walk twice this year (in April and in May). If you are not planning to do The Walk in your own city, I would like to request your support by sponsoring me for The Walk.

My goal this year is to get 250 sponsors, and to surpass last year’s total of $18,200.00.

Or, make the cheque payable to “MS Society of Canada” and give/mail it to me by May 1, 2018. My goal is to submit all funds by Walk Day.

Thank you in advance for your support again this year, and for helping me to once again be on the “Honour Roll” of top fundraisers. Your support is very much appreciated. If a donation is not possible this year, please don’t hesitate to send me your best wishes as I really appreciate that too.
